Plaid A3 Paper Instructions

Use 3 A4 or 3 A3 sheets to create one large quilt design together. Perfect for family quilts, anniversary blankets, class projects, and personal gifts for a teacher.

1. Place 3 sheets of paper one below the other
2. Stick them together, or leave them separate
3. Have everyone draw together on the three sheets
4. Take a photo from above of all three sheets together, or of each sheet separately
5. We will then digitally combine the three separate drawings into one large plaid design.

• Trace over pencil lines with a black marker or fine-liner at least 1 mm thick. Thicker lines produce clearer results in knitted pieces.
• Erase the pencil lines after tracing over them
• Photograph each sheet, or all three together, straight from above in good daylight

You don’t need to tape the three sheets together. For example, several children or family members can each draw on a separate sheet. We’ll then combine the three individual drawings into one large blanket design.
