The quality of your final design depends directly on the photo you upload. With these tips and the instructional video, you'll learn how to take a sharp, straight, and clear photo.
5 tips for taking the perfect photo of your drawing
Use your smartphone (high quality)
Smartphones have excellent resolution. If your phone asks you to, always send us the highest-quality photo. The larger the photo you send us, the better the result.
Take photos in daylight
Natural light is best. Place your artwork next to a window or take a photo outside in daylight.
Lay your drawing flat
If necessary, secure the corners of the paper to the surface below.
Take the photo straight from above
Get as close to the drawing as possible, but do not crop out any part of it.
Avoid shadows and wrinkles
Everything visible in the photo will be included in your final design.
Good examples of photos
Sharp and well-lit
The drawing is in the center of the photo. The photo is sharp and clear.
Portrait or landscape (both possible)
They will both fit well. Choose the size that works best for you.
Photos best avoided
Too little light
Take the photo in bright, even lighting.
Shadows in your drawing
Avoid shadows and creases on the paper.
Blurry photo
Make sure you take a sharp photo.

Take the photo straight from above so that the drawing is centered.
