You can easily create your own stitch pattern for a scarf or blanket. Use the dimensions and tips below and start designing right away.

Scarves for Women and Men

Tape three A4 sheets together and draw a rectangle on them measuring 82 cm long and 10 cm wide. This is your drawing template for a women's or men's scarf and within this frame you can create your design.

Want a larger drawing area? XL drawing template for group projects

• Tape 6 A4 sheets together lengthwise.
• Trim the last sheet to create a drawing template of 172.5 cm long and 21 cm wide.
  
• Trace your drawing with a thicker black marker of at least 2 mm, so the lines remain clearly visible in the knitting. The thicker the lines, the better the result usually is.
• Use large, clear letters for handwritten text. Small letters must be at least 2 cm high for a good result in the knitting.
• This XL drawing template is only suitable for the Scarves for Women and Men and not for a children's scarf.

Children's Scarves

Tape three A4 sheets together and draw a rectangle on them measuring 82 cm long and 10 cm wide. This is your drawing template and within this frame you can make your drawing.

Children's Blankets and Baby Blankets

Take an A4 sheet of paper and draw a rectangle on it measuring 25 cm long and 15 cm wide. This is your drawing template and within this frame you can create your design. 

Want a larger drawing area? 

• Enlarge the drawing template in the same proportions up to double the size.
• Trace your drawing with a black fineliner or marker of at least 1 mm thick, so the lines remain nicely visible in the knitting. The thicker the lines, the better the result usually is.

Throw Blanket

Tape two A4 sheets together and draw a rectangle on them measuring 35 cm long and 18 cm wide. This is your drawing template and within this frame you can create your design.
