At Relooped, we've already knitted some beautiful designs for illustrators. Illustrators often like to draw their designs on a tablet using the Procreate drawing app.
To turn drawings made in Procreate into knitting patterns, we first need to convert them to pixel art. Each pixel (small square) is then knitted as one stitch. Each knitted loop is about 1 to 2 mm in size, and we even get beautiful results with very small details in the illustrations. The easiest way to convert drawings into pixel art is in Adobe Photoshop. That's why we always import vector drawings made in Procreate or Illustrator into Adobe Photoshop first, and finish the design there.

New template packs for your design process
For a complete design process, we've created new template packs that include the drawing templates and simple step-by-step instructions. With the help of the new templates, you have complete control over your design. You can also personalize your design with your own text or logo.
We're excited about our collaboration with illustrator Vera Bertens from Franje Design, who helped us develop and test the new templates. She also made a fun instruction video about how to draw the design in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop. You can use the video as a guide and inspiration when preparing your next design.
