A knitted blanket as a personal gift: Making a large family blanket
At Relooped, it’s not just about products; what we make is a canvas for your creativity. Take the Relooped plaid for example. It’s a great canvas for your little ones to draw a cozy knitted blanket for the couch or as a bed blanket. Or let your own imagination run wild and design your own unique plaid.
Heartwarming gifts
We have found that our Relooped throws are perfect for heart-warming gift ideas. Think of a knitted blanket as a gift from students to their teacher. We have even created a throw with 100 children's drawings, each made by 100 little artists. A perfect and personal gift that will make the teacher smile and bring back memories. Another beautiful idea is a large family blanket, where each family member designs the blanket together, each a part of the drawing. Imagine a warm gift, perfect for grandma's birthday. Or make your own family throw with your little ones, a great family keepsake forever.
Creative with A3 paper: Make a spacious drawing template for your knitted blanket
To make such a family blanket, using a larger drawing template is the perfect solution. And here is our handy tip! You don’t even need a printer. All you need is three large sheets of A3 paper. Tape them together along the long sides, and voilà, you have a super large drawing template for a blanket. This canvas is the perfect size for all the creative people in your family to draw on at the same time. Or if it’s more convenient, everyone can draw their own drawing on white paper and then stick it onto the large template. An important note! If the drawings are made with pencil, trace them with a fineliner or marker with a minimum thickness of 1 mm. This will ensure that the lines are solid and will ensure a good result when knitting. To take a good photo of your large drawing template, lay it on the floor and take a photo from directly above, in daylight and without shadows.
