A knitted blanket as a personal gift: Making a large family throw

At Relooped, it’s not just about products; what we create is a canvas for your creativity. Take the Relooped plaid, for example. It’s a wonderful canvas for your little ones to design a cozy knitted blanket for the couch or as a bed cover. Or let your own imagination run wild and design your own unique plaid.

Heartwarming Gifts

We’ve noticed that our Relooped plaids are perfect for heartwarming gift ideas. Think of a knitted blanket as a gift from students to their teacher. We even made a plaid featuring 100 children’s drawings, each created by 100 little artists. A perfect and personal gift that will make the teacher smile and bring back memories. Another beautiful idea is a large family blanket, where each family member contributes a design for the blanket, each drawing a part. Imagine a warm gift, perfect for grandma’s birthday. Or create your own family plaid with your little ones, a wonderful family keepsake forever.

Creative with A3 Paper: Make a Large Drawing Template for Your Knitted Blanket

To make such a family plaid, using a larger drawing template is the perfect solution. And here’s our handy tip! You don’t even need a printer. All you need are three large sheets of A3 paper. Tape them together along the long edges, and voilà, you have a super-large drawing template for a blanket. This canvas is the perfect size for all the creatives in your family to draw on at the same time. Or if it’s easier, everyone can make their own drawing on white paper and later stick it onto the large template. An important note! If the drawings are made with pencil, trace them over with a fineliner or marker with a minimum thickness of 1 mm. This ensures the lines are solid and results in a good outcome when knitting. To take a good photo of your large drawing template, lay it on the floor and take a photo straight from above, in daylight and without shadows.
